It lies on the A163 road where it joins the A614 road.The nearest railway station is in Howden, and there is good access to the M62. Amenities include several pubs, a bakery, convenience stores, a doctors surgery and a primary school.

DIRECTIONS From Market Weighton, on entering the village turn left at the first roundabout onto Moor End.
Take the first right also signed as Moor End and this leads into Beacon View. At the T junction turn left and the property will be found a short distance along on the left hand side.
